Lane Gibbs

 

Lane Gibbs is co-founder, along with Matt Whitaker, of Native Oil & Gas, LLC. Gibbs began his energy career in Houston, Texas as a Land Representative for ExxonMobil Production Company (NYSE: XOM) before moving to Oklahoma City and joining Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NYSE: CHK) as a Landman. He then co-founded Native Oil & Gas, LLC in 2013 focusing on the strategic acquisition of minerals, royalties and working interest.

Gibbs and Whitaker then went on to form Native Energy Partners I, LP ("NEP") to acquire non-operated working interest in the SCOOP and Native-Legacy Partners, LLC ("NLP") to acquire mineral assets in the STACK, SCOOP & MERGE. After the successful divestiture of both NEP and NLP, they formed Native Exploration Holdings, LLC with private equity firm Kayne Anderson Energy Funds to pursue an operated strategy in the Mid-Continent, specifically Oklahoma.

Gibbs graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Energy Management. He lives in Oklahoma City, OK and is married.  He serves on the Board of Directors for the Wes Welker Foundation and is a council member of the Northside YMCA. He is a member of AAPL, OCAPL, OIPA and St. Luke’s United Methodist Church.


Matt Whitaker


Matt Whitaker is co-founder, along with Lane Gibbs, of Native Oil & Gas, LLC. Whitaker began his energy career as a field landman in Western Oklahoma before joining Devon Energy Corporation (NYSE: DVN) as a Landman. He then co-founded Native Oil & Gas, LLC in 2013 focusing on the strategic acquisition of minerals, royalties and working interest.

Lindsey Walton


Lindsey is Vice President of Engineering at Native Oil & Gas, LLC. She began her energy career in 2007 at SandRidge Energy (NYSE: SD) starting as a Reservoir Engineer in Corporate Reserves and later as a Lead Engineer of the Appraisal/New Ventures department. Lindsey was responsible for a $620MM drilling program in 2014, developing and further delineating the Mississippi Lime In Kansas and northern Oklahoma. In addition, she was involved in numerous A&D evaluations, managed budget planning and tracking, and maintained and forecasted over 1,500 producing locations.

Lindsey graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering. She lives in Oklahoma City, OK and is married.


Chris Flenthrope

 

Chris is the Vice President of Geology at Native Oil & Gas, LLC.  He began his career at Devon Energy Corporation (NYSE: DVN) where he spent nine years working various areas including the Rockies, Mid-Continent and Permian Basin.  He has directed geological operations for over 250 horizontal wells in the Anadarko Basin, Permian Basin and Cherokee Platform.

Flenthrope earned an M.S. in Geology from Kansas State University.

 


Toby Fullbright

Toby Fullbright is Vice President of Land and A&D at Native Oil & Gas, LLC.  His roots are as an Oklahoma field landman, having run title in more than 25 counties before taking an in-house job at Chesapeake Energy in 2005.  At Chesapeake, he began as an Oklahoma Corporation Commission Landman specializing in preparation and management of regulatory applications.  He spent time as part of a Land Broker group executing strategic focused efforts in due diligence, curative, title and leasing, training, acquisition, and legal resolution.  The last several years at Chesapeake he spent as Senior Landman in an E&P role as part of a Mid-Continent team with one of the most active rig schedules in the nation.  In 2014, he joined Meade Energy Corporation as the Manager of their Land Department, where his function involved all aspects of asset development, prospect generation, maintenance of ownership and well records, and daily land operations.  Toby joined Native in Spring of 2017.  He attended Oklahoma State University, studying Philosophy and English.  He is married and lives in the Putnam Heights Historic District of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
